                  Theorema XXVII.

                  Cometae loca apparentia in uno directo et perfecto circulo magno pos-
                  sunt ordinari hisce modis: vel enim cum cometa in piano ecliptieae vorsatur,

                  stans trajiciensve intra vel extra orbitam Telluris vel cum in quacunque

                  coeli plaga trajicit, tantum remotus a Terra, ut ejus urbita sit ad conietam
                  insensibilis; vel cum tanta est pernicitas trajectionis cometae, ut trajectio Tel-
                  luris ad cometae trajeetionem collata non sit valde sensibilis; vel cum et visus
                  et cometa, etiani proportionatis inter se trajectionibus, feruntur etiam extra
                  eclipticae planum, etiam vicini invicem, hic quidcm per rectum, ille per arcum
                  orbitae non multo diiïerentem a recta, in cometicae trajectionis plauum inci-
                  dente vel denique potest etiam haec identitas plani remitti, si certum suc-
                  cedat tempentmentum trajectionis cometae, comparatae ad trajectionem Telluris.
                  Haec difficulter in piano demonstrantur, sufliciat monuisse.

                  Theorema XXVIH.

                  Ducto per trajectoriam cometae plano in orbitam Terrae sic ut illud
                  planum hanc orbitam secet duobus locis) quos l'erra in duobus diebus dura-
                  tionis cometae obtinet, in quodeunque latus hujus plani declinaverint loca
                  Terrae reliqua per durationis tempus, in plagam contrariam loca cometae
                  respondentia necesse est exire a directione circuli magni, ducti per duo loca
                  primo dictis diebus respondentia.

                  Sequitur ex priori. Si enim arcus orbitae Terrae rescissus a tali piano
                  esset linea recta, incidels in idem planum, cometa videretur semper sub cir-
                  culo magno: in quantum igitur exit Terra ab hoc piano et in quantum dis-
                  cessio ista sensibilis est ad distantiam cometae, in tantum etiam sentitur flexus
                  itineris visibilis cometae in plagam contrariam.

                  Theorema XXIX.

                  Si per trajectoriam cometae et per unum Telluris locum ducalur pla-
                  num, secans arcum orbitae Telluris confectum tempore durationis, angulo
                  recto aut non multum alio, née plus quam uno loco: hoc casu iter cometae
                  visibile -varie tortuosum effici potest.

                  Nam per th. XXVII. ut hoc iter appareat circulus magnus, requireretur
                  in hoc casu certa contemperatio trajectus utriusque; atqui negatur nobis liaec
                  contemperatio, cum in trajectione Telluris modulus status, via circularis, in
                  trajectione cometae, perpétua aequabilitas; aut perpetuum et orflinatum incre-
                  mentum sit. Itaque necesse est, cometam nunc tardius trajiccre, quam ut sub
                  eodem circulo magno videri possit, nunc velocius.

                  Theorema XXX.

                  Posita trajectione vera cometae vel aequabili vel ordinate inacquali,
                  potest diurnus motus longitudinis cornetae apparere inordinatis et confusis
                  legibus crescens ve decrescens.

                  In schemate 9, quod factum est pro cometa anni 161/8, diurni motus
                  longitudinis cometae fuerunt a me in ordinem quendam perpetui deercmenti
                  dispositi, quia observationes non erant accuratae. Visoriae igitur BF, ES, GH,
