so that this cession begins at a point on thé line of 1837, due N. of head of E.
branch of Snake river.
This tract was not, as at first aupposed, wifbin thé limits of thé cession by See 454 Minnesota 2. this treaty, but was withun thé limita of a tract already ceded by treaty of
Jnly 29, 1837. Conditionally ceded by treaty of May 7, 1864. See that
treaty.
